Lawrie Sanchez to Quit

Northern Ireland boss Lawrie Sanchez has commented that he expects to quit his job as as Northern Ireland national team manager at the end of the Euro 2008 campaign.

He made these remarks to The Sunday Life:

"The likelihood is that whenever the campaign finishes, I need to be looking forward to my next job.

"In the meantime, the IFA (Irish Football Association) are in agreement with me, that if a job comes up that interests me and would allow me to continue with Northern Ireland, then I would be given permission to speak to the relevant club.

Let's hope he does a good job whilst he's at the helm and we can all say thanks at the end of their involvement.
