Hristo Stoichkov Ready to Quit

Hungary coach Hristo Stoichkov says he's ready to quit if they don't make the Euro 2008 finals next year.

With only one win and a full six points behind the leaders it's not going to be easy for the Hungarian hero. Thankfully their next game is at home to Moldova whilst group leaders Turkey and Greece face each other in a game that promises to be tense.

You could reasonably expect Hungary to close the gap on the qualifying birth and Stoichkov is still confident despite the up hill struggle:

“I believe we will qualify for Euro 2008 since the team is good and things are going as I've planned", said Stoichkov as quoted by Bulgarian National Radio.
