Scotland v. Italy 17th November
The temperature may be cold outside, but in Hampden Park the noise and bodies will keep all concerned warm. I just hope when the final whistle goes they'll also be feeling content and extactic.
British teams have the habit of clinching deteat from the jaws of victory. Not for over 40 years has there been any national footballing joy on these shores. Let's hope that Scotland can fly their banner high and get a win against Italy.
Even a draw could be enough as France have to play Ukraine in their last game. France have got the Faroe Islands so Wednesday could be a real nightmare!
