Qualifying Update
I don't really want to be summarising the standings in the Euro 2008 qualifying round. I had a feeling we'd loose. But here goes:
Group A:
It's still an open group. Poland can qualify if they beat Belgium next month. However, any from Portugal, Serbia and Finland still finish the group as leaders.
But it won't be easy for Poland as Belgium and their final opponents, Serbia are no pushovers.
Portugal have a slightly easier game against Armenia and then the tough home game against Finland.
Serbia may have the easier task as they play Kazajhstan.
This is anyone's bet!

Armenia v Kazakhstan
Azerbaijan v Belgium
Portugal v Finland
Serbia v Poland
Group B
Following Scotland's defeat to Georgia last night, it continues to be a three-horse race. And one I wouldn't ant to be in!
Thanksfully France have a tough away game to Ukraine and Scotland's game is at home to Italy. If they win that, they're through.

Lithuania v Ukraine
Scotland v Italy
Wednesday, 21 November 2007
Georgia v Lithuania
Italy v Faroe Islands
Ukraine v France
Group C
Greece have qualified. It's basically down to Norway and Turkey to fight it out.
Group D
Unfortuantely Germany have qualified and Czech Republic will also be through if they take a solitary point from their last three games.
Group E
Grr! Croatia just need a point from one of their next two games: Away to Macedonia and England. If Russia win against Andorra (cough) and Israel they'll also be through and England Not.
My Prediction:
Andorra v Estonia - bovered?
FYR Macedonia 0 - 2 Croatia
Israel 1-0 Russia
Andorra 0 - 4 Russia
England 2 - 1 Croatia
Israel 1 - 0 Macedonia
Group F
It looks like Sweden and Spain will qualify, but it's not certain as Denmark or Northern Ireland can still scrape through.
Group G
Romania are the most likely to qualify and will do if they beat bulgaria. Holand are have a strugle to qualify and are hoping Romania do them a favour against Bulgaria.
