Georgia V Scotland 17th October
Not a place you'd want to go to this time of year with the pressure being heaped on. I'd expect them to win. But us British teams have a habit of clutching defeat from the jaws of victory.
I'm hoping they can get the win they need and allow their fans to book their tickets to the finals.
As you can see, Scotland have 21 points, Italy 20 and France 19 all having played 9 games and with three games to go anything could happen!
With Scotland's first game agianst Ukraine at home and then an away to Georgia you could expect them to pick up at least four points. That'd take them up to 25 with the final game at home against Italy.
Italy just have the one game in this section against Georgia on Saturday and should comfortably win that so when they play Scotland on 17th November they should realistically have 23 points with a game in hand.
France have two easy games against Faroe Islands and Lithuania so they should go into the final game of their round on 25 points as well.
So with one game to play for France and Scotland, I expect both to be on 25 points and Italy on 23 with one more game to play. With Scotland's better head to head, they need to get full points out of the next two games to allow them to relax more against Italy who they aren't, obviously, guarenteed to get full points.
