Greens to be Tournament Winners

The Swiss and Austrian Environment Ministers are aiming to make the Euro 2008 football tournament a green event. The main thrust of the scheme is to encourage fans to travel by public transport to the matches.

Their aim is that 80% of fans in Switzerland travel to matches this way and 60% in Austria.
