"Fraudulent" Ticket Orders Removed

UEFA has reportedly removed 1.6 million ticket requests for the Euro 2008 championships from the lottery.

Now only 8.7 million out of the orignial 10.3 million requests will be considered. The majority of these requests allegedly came from Norway and the United States. The view is that these were from black market resellers.

If anyone doesn't get a ticket from the lottery, they can apparently apply to their national FA for them.
