Beckham to Play in Euro 2008 Qualifier?

Well the Guardian is reporting that David Beckham is a step closer to playing for his country again following fantastic performances for Real Madrid.

Well we certainly need players with balls and passion after the last few dismal performances, not least in the previous Euro 2008 qualifiers. My opinion is that we should bring him back and utilise his crossing ability for both Rooney and Crouch up-front. If that doesn't work, then we should just pack our bags up and book a holiday for next summer.
