Scotland V France Tickets Sold Out

The last 11,000 tickets for the Euro 2008 Qualiftying game between France and Scotland sold out in just three hours with the rush to buy tickets bringing down the official site and causing phone lines to go into meltdown.

You had to be a committed fan to get tickets with over 2000 queeing up from 5:30 am outside Hamden to get tickets.

There were also accusations at Tynecastle where fans criticised the ticket office of holding back tickets which resulted in a disterbance requiring the attention of the police.

The advice of the SFA spokesman Andy Mitchell was: "The message is if people are unhappy about queuing and telephone sales, join supporters' club. We like to look after the interests of our core support."
