England Squad - Scott Parker Back In
With the England midfield being ravaged by injury Scott Parker has rightly won his place back in the England Euro 2008 qualifying squad to face Macedonia at Old Trafford and Croatia away. The out-of-form Wayne Rooney is available again after being suspended and expect he'll be back to his usual best.
Spurs' Ledley King also comes back into the squad but his team mate Michael Dawson and Luke Young fail to make it.
Joe Cole who sparkled at the World Cup still isn't fit enough for Euro 2008 duty. Whilst David Beckham is still out of favour and with so many injury's it would be reasonable to conclude that his international career is over.
I'm a big fan of Parker and Mclaren is starting to agree, saying that "Scott is having a very good run at Newcastle, he's playing well and he is a leader ... He is a player who epitomises what we are all about - team ethic and a winning attitude. "
