Ukraine to put a up a challange to Scotland

Proof that Scotland will have a difficult time in Euro 2008 Group B came as Ukraine put together a useful performance to thrash Group A contenders Azerbaijan 6-0.

What makes it worse is that Ukraine didn't even have their captain and goal-miester Andriy Shevchenko and they still managed to knock their opposition for six.

The scoring was spread accross the former Russian Republic with goals from Andriy Voronin, Serhiy Nazarenko, Ruslan Rotan and Oleg Gusev in the first half with Andriy Vorobei and Olexiy Belik hitting the back of the net in the second.

Seeing as Scotland have to combat France and Italy the only thing that the Euro 2008 qualifiers may produce for Scotland is some fantastic games - but we still hope they can produce a miracle.

Will Scotland make it to the Euro 2008 finals? Discuss it in the forum.
