Stars Turning on Sven

The comments coming out players that "performed" under Sven haven't totally painted their relationship in glowing colours.

First to stand out was Steven Gerrard who commented:"It's the first time in a long time that I have really enjoyed myself playing for England."

Then Frank Lampard gave his support to Steven saying: "Steven played the role he has filled so well for Liverpool. He comes inside and creates problems that your average winger doesn't create. We shouldn't get carried away with the performance but the midfield looked good and hopefully we can work on that."

Let's hope now that England can forget the past and move on, performing like the team they should and secure a birth in the Euro 2008 finals as early as possible.
