Georgia V Faroe Islands

This was never going to be a battle of tactics, agression or a pressure-fueled game. It was always going to be a mild walk-over.

Arveldaze gotta lotta Shota in accruing a hat-trick as the Georgians crushed the Faroe Islands with a 6-0 victory in the Astadio Cumunal de Aixovall.

The intersting part of the game is that the Faroe Islands could have taken the lead when Christian Hogni Jacobsen missed from close range.

However, the concern of possibly being one-down dissapeared when Jaba Kankava put Georgia 1-0 up in the 16th minute with a beautiful long range effort. From that point the firmly controlled the game and didn't look back.

The Faroese team, didn't have a full team because of injuries and looked completely out-classed. Many of the missing players may be back in the team when they meet Scotland away in September. But they still won't be anywhere capable of defeat the Scots.
