England Squad Announced Today

So will there be any surprises when Steve McClaren announces his first Euro 2008 squad?

His tenure at the helm of England started well with a 4-0 victory over Greece this month, but he shouldn't have any problems naming a squad capable of improving on that score against Andorra on the 2nd of September at Old Trafford.

We know that many including John Terry, Ashley Cole, Paul Robinson, Rio Ferdinand, Owen Hargreaves, Steven Gerrard, etc should be assured of their places. However, Gary Neville is sure to be out with injury.

Hopefully Aaron Lennon and Theo Walcott will be in the squad to provide an extra pace to contribute towards knocking a cricket-score against Andorra and maybe some late pace against Macedonia in the following away game.
