Rooney Suspended from Two Euro 2008 Matches
Well, they've done it. FIFA have stepped in again and given Wayne Rooney a two competitive match suspension and fined him £2,400 for his alleged stamp in the World Cup quarter-final game against Portugal.
As a result he'll miss the Euro 2008 qualifiers against Andorra and Macedonia. I'm just greatful he wasn't banned from the Russian and Croatian matches.
Wayne has insisted he was innocent and that Carvalho slipped under where he was about to put his foot.
