Lippi Resigns as Italy Head Coach
Marcello today resigned head coach of Italy following his team's victory in Germany.Lippi commented: "I believe that I have achieved what I set out to achieve as coach of the Italian team."
He'd decided to go prior to winning and in actual fact told the Italian Federation vice president, Giancarlo Abete during the World Cup.
What Lippi does now is anyone's guess. But whatever job he takes, he'll be sure of a nice big salary.
