Kranjčar Leaves as Croatian Coach

Zlatko Kranjčar is no longer the coach of Croatia today following their poor performance in the World Cup, finishing third in Group F after loosing to Brazil and drawing against Japan and Australia.

The premier of the national football association, Vlatko Marković, commented:

"I am sorry that Kranjcar will be replaced, but the decision is largely the result of Kranjcar's comments after the World Cup that he didn't do anything wrong and would do the same again."

They've already narrowed the list of successors down to two possibles, so a replacement shouldn't be too long-a-comming.
