Javer Clemente Becomes Servian Manager

Javier Clemente has taken on the challenge to bring the Serbian national team into the Euro 2008 finals in Austria / Switzerland.

Clemente said that his new role is the "greatest challenge" of his career and turned down more financially rewarding offers from club teams.

This is the first time Serbia have hired a foreign coach and just the second time Clemente has worked abroad after a spell at Olympique de Marseille in 2000. Clemente has loads of international experience with six years at the helm of Spain.
