France V Italy V Tasty

When France meet Italy less than two months after the dramatic World Cup final match I'm sure there'll be a few sparks flying and I'm sure Marco Materazzi will be a marked man.

On that Wednesday in early September at the Stade de France I hope that both teams keep their cool and that we're blessed with a good attacking game. Thankfully they won't meet again until a year has passed, so I hope does all the hype.

Whatever was said, and only the two of them know for sure, it does no favours for football.

On the same day England face Macedonia, Scotland play Lithunia and Northern Ireland take on Spain but I'm sure the news reports that night will focus on the France match more than any other.
