More Security Funding for EURO 2008

The Swiss second chamber of Parliament has approved an an additional payment of €6.7m for security costs for the UEFA EURO 2008 tourment to be held in Austria and Switxerland in a couple of years and now means the level of funding has reached €52.8m.

This funding will go towards tight security measures for matches at the Swiss stadia at Basle, Berne, Geneva and Zurich.
